Environment

The Luberon Natural Regional Park includes 165 000 hectares and has been admitted by UNESCO as Biosphere Reserve and member of the Global Geoparks Network. A protected 5000+ hectares forest borders the property on three sides. An 18-hole golf course is adjacent to the farm.

The Luberon Natural Regional Park protects the environment surrounding the farm from overdevelopment.

The local micro-climate is exceptionally dry and sunny, with an average of 300 days of sunshine a year. The region is known to have the clearest skies of France. Just a few kilometers away, because of this, Saint Michel l’Observatoire is the site for a national astronomical observatory.

In addition to olive oil, the area is also an AOP wine-growing region, home to many quality wines.

A number of leisure activities are available within a short distance, including: 18-hole golf, mini-golf, tennis, pétanque, horseback riding, hunting, bicycle trails, walking trails, fishing in lakes and rivers, paragliding/parasailing, mountain climbing, thermal baths, etc.
